So Why Is Cold Brew Coffee Better For You?

The extraction process for cold brew is completely different because there is no heat involved.

You may have thought when reading the previous segment and thought “but how could they make cold brew if they didn’t have ice or fridges back then?!”.

Well, the name is kind of a misnomer.

Cold brew prefers to Coffee that’s brewed without the use of heat – not coffee that’s brewed with cold water or ice.

Precisely because there’s no heat, there are certain chemical reactions that don’t happen.
As a result cold brew is significantly less acidic than regular coffee.
